I found these killer lighting pieces while reading Modernism magazine a while back. Designed by Paris born Serge Mouille in 1953. They are some of the most beautiful and functional wall ceiling and floor lamps I have seen. I am particularly fond of the wall lighting, which almost seem like wall art. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the reflector resembles a womans breast. I can’t remember where I had orginally read this, but this is intentional. His pieces have been reissued by his wife, and are sold through Modern Living Inc. in Canada. Call for pricing info, and be sure to have a friend and some smelling salts handy when you receive the quote. They ain’t cheap. But nothing worth having forever really is, right?
